AutoNation Subaru Arapahoe
Dealership Sales Review
Went to Go Subaru on Arapahoe road because we met a very nice salesman the previous month. Well, he left the dealership to pursue another venture and we now know why. We were firstly passed around to 2 different salesman even though we had an appointment. Secondly the game began poorly when the salesman we ended up with knew nothing about the car. We came back from a test drive with financing in hand ready to buy a 2009 WRX premium package. After skating around the numbers we printed from Edmunds own website they would not acknowledge Edmunds TMV pricing. "Edmunds takes all the fun out of it" the salesman said. Then we told them about our trade in. Things got heated because the sales manager wanted to see our rate we had qualified for and all the details of that, giving us the excuse "We need it to build up a price sheet" Yeah, sure buddy. Then the slap in the face... Edmunds TMV trade-in pricing for our trade in was $14,798 dollars. They offered us $11,000. I told the sales manager that Edmunds has a TMV price to which he replied "Edmunds doesn't buy the car, we do" He had the worst attitude I have ever seen. I told him "I guess you don't want to make a sale today?" 11 is what it's worth, have a good day he replied. Nice service man, I am sure they sell alot of cars that way. Edmunds, you have this dealership listed as a premier dealership, you need to rethink that. All of your carefully calculated pricing means nothing to this dealer as they denouce your name at every turn. I look forward to making a deal at Flatirons or Mike Shaw Subaru and calling GO and telling them about the great deal we made outside of their dealership.
