Dealership Sales Review
I was met at the door by Alex, and I am so lucky I was. I have NEVER had a sales person at a car dealership treat me as well as Alex had. He honestly listens to your wants/needs. I told him I had been looking at the 2015 Dodge Durango R/T with Blacktop Package in Red for about a year now (it was Oct). I knew they had one, because I did an internet search. He asked me about my likes and dislikes for the Durango, then grabbed the keys and temp plate. My wife and I both drove the Durango alone with Alex, and then alone (to get some food, we were starving, and it gave us time to mull it over). We came back to Alex and said we loved the Durango, but our problem was the 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 I was currently driving had negative equity due to a backhanded deal we made in OKC. We went inside to start the finance dance. I was mentally prepared for this, as I knew where our mistake was in OKC. But Alex came back with a good offer, just not the right offer for us. We were $9k upside down on the truck. It hurt to say to Alex, but we didn't want to move that over to the Durango. After only about 90 minutes of talking it out with us, Alex, and the manager, they absorbed $8,500 of that negative equity and we walked out the door with $500 added to the Durango from my truck. We were so pleased. I was doing backflips!! Great customer service!!
