Horrible service. Stay far away from this place. Was charged $170 for a diagnostic, when I inquired about the repair needed (water pump complete replacement) I was directed to the cashier, was not greeted she asked my name and told me I needed to sign and pay the fee. I told her I had questions and she said after I sign and pay she will send me to talk to the service writer. Very rude. When I asked the writer about the actual part that needed fixed he could not tell me what actually failed.. Gasket, seep hole leak, mechanical malfunction, if a gasket which one? Was told no actual mechanical failure in pump.. Its a 2 piece water pump with multiple gaskets that are replaceable. So why replace 200 dollar water pump if its just a gasket and you cant confirm any mechanical failure?The diagnostic I was charged for would have given them this simple information. When I contested the diagnostic I was told they cant give me any info and the tech was gone for the day. I was told he would contact me the next day. I heard nothing the next day. Contacted the writer and again requested a speedy response. I was told tech had not shown. They still have not explained what actually failed where it is physically leaking from.. Still have not contacted me its been weeks! I was treated horribly when I informed them they would not be performing the repair. They took my money, tossed me my keys and refused to explain the diagnostic or to respond to any of my questions. Took my money I worked hard for, didnt perform any diagnostic then showed me the door.. Seriously reconsider any business with this dealership, I would hate for you to experience what me and my family have been put through at platinum chevy. Now our car is undrivable and we have small children and weeks later I am 170 dollars poorer and not even sure what failed in my car. So much for taking care of customers.. Maybe they are just to busy to respect hard working people.. Dont have time to diagnose cars properly, just need to get paid. I feel sad for future customers and their familys.Rude service writer and cashier. Was completely embarrassed and Shocked they can treat customers in this manner. Recommend another dealership to anybody I can. Noone should be treated this way. Poor excuse for a dealership.. I am a customer service rep here in Sonoma County serving 500 customers a day and would NEVER make a customer feel this way. I have a relationship with all my customers and freely share my feelings about this dealership and how they treated me and my family. I hope noone has to leave a place that demoralized and I will continue to do my best to get the word out so noone does.
