I will never go back. You've heard all those horror stories about used car dealers? So had I, but I still wasn't prepared for the discourtesy, deception, and misdirection that I encountered at the Abbott St used car lot. 1) I forgot my license, and a week later no one had ever called me! 2) I was mocked and derided for expressing my preference against a dark exterior color 3) Salesman assumed (correctly) that I would not notice the difference between a subcompact and the similar compact model 4) When I agreed to let them "run the numbers," my credit "challenges" prevented me from qualifying unless I agreed to a 72 month loan with payments high enough that I would have paid DOUBLE for the car, even after supplying a $4000 down payment. There's more, but I won't bore you with the rest. Just don't go there.
