Mercedes-Benz of Calabasas

I recently contacted Mercedes Benz of Calabasas about a used 2004 Lexus ES 330. I spoke with Lewis in the Internet dept. We negotiated a price and I agreed. I live in Alaska and planned to ship the car at my expense. He said I needed to provide a approval letter from my bank since I was getting my own financing to reserve the car. I provided him with the info he requested including a credit app, insurance and my DL. I WAS PROMISED THE CAR WAS MINE and not to worry. This happened on Friday. I called Saturday, Sunday and Monday (labor day)with no response. Finally on tuesday a sales manager took my call and informed me I was out of luck and the car was sold to another person. I was flat out lied to by these people. They will tell you what you want to hear and break promises. There is no way this place is worthy of your hard earned money. There are some great hard working honest people in this industry but not here. Find a Dealership that stands behind there word and cares about you whether you live in the area or 3,000 miles away. I spent many hours on this deal and got screwed.
