Prime Auto Sales
Dealership Sales Review
If I could give negative stars...I definitely would!! I would like to elaborate on how disappointed I am with this Dealership and I am consulting with an attorney to see what my options are and reaching out to the Better Business Bureau and any other platform I can gain the attention of. I got a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu from Prime Auto on 3/22/2019 and not even a month later....4/20/19 to be exact there was an issue with the Brake Booster Sensor that caused the entire brake system to fail and on top of that unbeknownst to me the car had literally no oil in it.....0 oil compression. Prime Auto had me in a loaner until 5/13/19 trying to figure out the issue. Nonetheless, had it fixed and good to go.....or so I thought. Fast Foward to 7/30/19, approximately 2 1/2 months later...the entire engine shuts down while I’m stopped at a red light in the middle of the 115 degree afternoon. I had the car towed to Courtesy Chevrolet and was advised the vehicle had 0 compression in all 4 cylinders and needed a new engine. Mind you I had to pay $389.55 for Courtesy Chevrolet to put a new battery in the car (because Prime Auto Sold me a car with the wrong battery in it) just for Courtesy to tell me it needed a new engine. I reach out to the Prime Auto and they request I pay ($80) to have it towed to them so their mechanic can check it out. His conclusion was the exact same. New engine needed for the vehicle...a 3 year old vehicle. So I’m put in another loaner while Prime Auto try and figure out options for me. 3 weeks later after little to no communication, I’m advised by the Finance Manager that the Owner of Prime Auto is not willing to assist me in getting this car fixed...A week later I turn the loaner in and I am now without a vehicle. I put $1,200 down on this lemon of a car. Of the 5 months I had it, 2 of the months it was in Prime Auto possession as they attempted to remedy the many issues this vehicle had. This is the worst situation I have ever had to deal with. I had to surrender the Chevy to the Finance company because I couldn’t afford to fix it on my own, I’m now thousands of dollars in the hole for it and taking the bus and using Uber to get myself and my son around. I’m a 35 year old hard working single mother. I haven’t been without a car in years. If you would have told me this is the predicament I would be in, in 2019... I would have laughed in your face, but here I am. I would not recommend this dealership to ANYONE. They do not have your well-being at hand and there is A LOT of Shady dealings going on if you get my drift. Bad business!!!! Do not even take a chance, it’s not even worth it.
