Dealership Sales Review
Incredibly poor service and follow up! I showed up on their lot on a Thursday and was on the lot for some time looking at cars. No one ever came out to assist. Finally a young lady was walking across lot with lunch in hand and said she'd send someone out. Worked with Nick that day, then it was like pulling teeth to get anything else accomplished...no return phone calls, no return emails, etc, etc. We went back to the lot both on Saturday and Sunday to view an X3 and also decided we may purchase another BMW from them...TWO CARS! Nope...still no return calls, emails (OH...and we are pre-approved ready to buy). On initial visit, I even wrote down all my info on paper for Nick...year/model/mileage of my trade in, what I was looking for in a car, etc. Nothing. One of the time I called in (probably Monday/Tuesday at this point) I spoke with Heather and let her know how frustrating and disappointing this all was...preapproved...looking at 2 cars...nothing. Finally I got an owner on the phone (Jessie)...who was nice and tried to get things on track a bit, but told me they don't like working with DSFCU, perhaps buy through them and refinance with DSFCU, they didn't have the title on the car yet (just got from auction a week before), I could put a non-refundable deposit of $250 to "hold" the car, etc. Later that evening, I was told to come in the next morning (a full week later, after I'd done all that legwork) and we'd work it out...but before I left, I received a call (finally! someone actually called me!) saying the car sold late the night before. HORRIBLE customer service...TERRIBLE at follow up on sales leads for well-qualified, pre-approved borrowers who had been at the lot 3-4 times, interested in TWO cars. I agree with all the people who say "no pressure"...there was NO anything.
