Impressive Sales and Service Experience

My husband and I are thoroughly impressed with the sales and service of AutoNation Chevrolet. I had been looking for a 2010 Tahoe for months, wanting the 2010 because my research said that was the year it went to a 6 speed transmission and knowing that I probably wouldn't be able to afford anything newer. I went to quite a few dealerships, explaining what I was looking for and why I was looking for a 2010, and also telling them I wasn't in a hurry. I got a lot of business cards and was told if they found one they'd give me a call. I thought I had a few more months to search when my car died. Suddenly the search was serious. The next time I was in Spokane for a doctor's appointment, I decided to call some of those salesmen from the cards I had in my purse. Since my girlfriend was driving me in, I could call since the drive in took a while. After calling a couple of salesmen at other dealerships, I called AutoNation. The salesman I had talked to was no longer with the company so I was transferred to Ken Mobley. I explained to him what I was looking for and he said they had just gotten a few cars I might be interested in. More importantly, he told me that in the latter part of 2009, Chevy put a 6 speed transmission in the Tahoe. He texted me pictures and information on the three SUVs he had he thought I might like. I was going to wait until after my doctor's appointment to go by. But during lunch, after talking it over with my girlfriend, I called him to tell him I would come by to look at the 2009 Tahoe. The keys to being a good salesman is listening and product knowledge. Ken is a good salesman...excellent at his job. He listened to what I wanted, didn't push me, and knew everything about the product. Believe me when I say that. Other salesmen at other dealerships were all told why I was looking for a 2010 Tahoe and what I wanted in it. Ken was the ONLY one who told me the 2009 later model went to the 6 speed tranny. He answered all my questions about the car and explained all the buttons and features. On top of that, this Tahoe had everything except one option that I wanted. Long story short on this part of my transaction, I called my husband, told him I was bringing home a new (to me) car. The transaction in buying it was no stress, easy and fairly quick (based upon stories friends and family had told me about buying their cars at other dealerships.) This is the third car we've bought from Appleway. I drove away happy with my purchase. Two days later, my husband and I are driving to a wedding...the first time he's been in the car. He pointed out to me that the dash was all cracked. I hadn't noticed as I'm short and couldn't see it over the "hump" of the dash while sitting in the drivers seat. He, needless to say, was very unhappy over that. I called Ken the following Monday or Tuesday and took it in later in the day for him to look at it. While I waited in the lobby, he took Brad Watson from the service area to look over the dash. When they came back in, I was told they would fix it, and since it would take 10 hours for the work, they would give me a loaner to drive until it was ready. I had to wait until the part came in and they would call me to set up the appointment. Everything went smoothly and I got my car back yesterday. My husband and I are so, so impressed with how Appleway treated and took care of us. We are recommending them to everyone we know who is looking for a car. Kudus to Ken Mobley and Brad Watson for being excellent employees! And, I'm happy to say, My Car Looks Beautiful!
