I took my wife's Pilot in for an oil change and a "look over" knowing the brakes were getting a little rough. I bought the car from CARMAX at 45,000 miles and now had 75,000 miles. I had been getting oil changes done at Jiffy Lube, so I wanted a certified Honda tech to give my wife's Pilot a full look over. The service rep I worked with, Stefanie Brunner was INCREDIBLE! She listened to my needs and concerns, and relayed them to the tech and then back to me. There ended up being some items that needed to be addressed and she made sure CARMAX's warranty that I purchased was billed and not me. She even got me a rental from the dealership for the day and 1/2 they had my wife's Pilot. Normally I would not be too excited about pay $800, but had I not purchased the warranty on the vehicle, it would have cost me $2500. Additionally, Stefanie did the research and made sure I was not paying for things that were covered and I felt like they really went through my car looking for issues that were border line and having them addressed then, so I would not pay another deductible from CARMAX on a visit down the road. Normally I don't like paying for the "dealer experience" in the service dept, but I will be bringing my car back not just for big ticket items, but for oil changes and future maintenance. Stefanie is a huge asset to your dealership and as long as we own a Honda, you have earned my business. Thanks again!
