Galpin Volkswagen

I wanted to share my appreciation for both Neil S. & J.C. C. at Galpin Volkswagen. Together, they form a great team which made the overall car buying experience enjoyable and productive. I selected the dealership based on Neil's e-mail messages after I sent out a generic sales quote request on edmunds.com. After spending a day test driving cars at other dealerships (including 1 other VW dealership), my wife and I visited Galpin Volkswagen about an hour before closing time. J.C. was knowledgeable about the vehicles my wife and I test drove. He helped locate the vehicles with the features we liked. No pressure felt from him. Neil finished the sales experience by brokering a deal which helped us stay within our budget. The only reason this was not a 5-star rating was that the negotiation time went a bit long compared to my previous experiences in leasing other cars. Also, after spending a long time finding a monthly payment which made us comfortable, we had to go through a sales pitch from the lady who prepared our paperwork regarding service plans which would have added more money to our monthly rate. I understand it is part of the buying process and it is the lady's requirement for her job, but I wish it would be offered only if the customer inquires. We are grateful for Neil's, J.C.'s, Michael's and the rest of the service team's patience for staying open well past closing time. We would recommend this dealership and especially Neil and J.C. when others are considering their next car. I have received 3 follow-up communications within the last 4 days since we took our car home from both Neil and J.C. Their appreciation for our business is genuine.
