I purchased a new Toyota from High Country and discovered within a couple of weeks that both a door and a quarter panel had been re-painted (verified by body shop). Their sales paperwork includes language which leaves the buyer with absolutely no legal recourse, not even on a new car purchase. I complained to every regulatory body available, to no avail. I complained multiple times to Toyota Motor Co. Each of those complaints resulted in Toyota's calling it a "sales issue" and referring me back to High Country. I demanded that High Country either refund my money or pay for a new factory-quality paint job. High Country's response was for me to come back and "talk about it". I believe High Country's sales techniques to be highly deceptive. I asked very specific questions during the purchase process and received false answers. It was a long, miserable negotiation and by far the worst car buying experience in a lifetime that has seen quite a few car purchases. Prior to this experience I was a long-time loyal Toyota customer. I doubt very seriously that I'll ever purchase another Toyota product. They don't seem to care how their dealers get the cars sold. Before buying from this dealer, check out their Better Business Bureau rating.
