Lexus SC 430 Prices Paid and Buying Experience

  • Price range for a CPO Lexus SC 430

Written by: gokaden on May 11, 2006 9:58:52 AM

Hi, I'm looking at buying a 2002 or 2003 CPO sc 430, and the KBB trade-in and retail values for this vehicle differs about $10K. Therefore, should I expect to pay toward the high or low end of this range for this particular vehicle? I think this is heavily based on the popularity of the vehicle. Any thoughts would help.

I realize that the message I am replying to is dated, however I am having the same problem. I have owned two SC 430's new, 2002 and currently a 2004 model. I have replaced two windshields on the 2004 model. (At $1100 each) Both were cracked toward the center of the glass. One from the bottom, the other from the top. I have much experience with RFT's sensors and wind noise ... Read More

I am searching also. However, do to budget constraints only concentrating on 2002 & 2003 SC 430s. No GPS -- but does have NAV. No Lexus Link (remote access). Most come with Runflat tires, thus no spare. No trunk room for a spare, if you had one. Hard top nice feature for sound. Handles very well.

Listen to ipsadoodle folks on tire issues with SC430.. Switch to Dunlop 5000 DSST and ask Lexus dealership for a refund.. Bridgestone RFT(runflat) /GoodYear EMT(Extended Mobility Technology) tires are trouble..I switched to Dunlop last year after driving 30K miles on my 2002 SC 430, no problems thereafter..

I own a 2002 Lexus SC-430 with run flat tires.I don't like them they are noisy hard riding and seem to pull sideways when hard braking. I am thinking of getting high performance tires is there enough space in the trunk for a doughnut spare? Any help would be appreciated.            Leo-K
