Got a 2003 Chrysler voyager parked it at the airport for 3 days when i returned it would not start! I checked everything out in the parking deck for loose connections etc. I just so happened to of pulled the entire fuse box located on the drivers side fender and the bottom of it was severely corroded. cleaned it up the best I could the van started right up. My 2003 53 plate voyager (I am in the UK) has just come back from the garage (not a chrysler garage) following a bump, and they have switched off? the dvd player. They also switched of the radio, but i had a code for that written down in the manual. It is a Mopar dvd player, and now when i put in a dvd it says wrong region ? I have ... Read More

Our 1997 Plymouth Voyager SE is currently sitting outside a county building in a parking lot. Why? Because it died and wouldn't restart. Thank God our 2000 Hyundai Accent and 1998 Mitsubishi Mirage will get us through the weekend. It started when the tranny blew @ 60K. We're still waiting for the next one to blow. We know someone who has replaced 6 transmissions in their Dodge Caravan! Engine blew @ ... Read More

I third Shipo's comments. We have a 01 DGC EX with over 64K that we bought used back in September 2003. The only none maintenance problems we had was to replace both front power window motor regulators right after purchase, (Covered under warranty) and replace the gas cap in 2004. Although, unfortunate that you have had so many problems with your used 01 Plymouth Voyager, you did buy it used. Do ... Read More

While it is certainly unfortunate that you've had so many problems with your (second hand?) Voyager, your rant is both unwarranted and filled with personal opinion that bear little resemblance to the facts regarding the reliability of DC minivans. My wife and I own two GCs, and we know many other folks who own any number of flavors of DC minivans. As a rule these vans have been nothing short of ... Read More
Maybe people on this board are right about this recall thing! Here's some recent news from Autooninfo.com. The Chrysler Group of DaimlerChrysler AG is recalling 70,000 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country minivans, for a latch that may get stuck in the unopened position and consequently prevent proper closure and permit an unintended opening while the vehicle is in operation. The Chrysler Group said that a new liftgate ... Read More

That was one of those cost cutting deals Chrysler did a few years ago. They have taken many little things off over the years. I had a 2001 Voyager that I traded for a new 2003 Voyager LX and I found several things that my 2001 had that my 2003 did not have. Others did the same. BTW, I bought a 2005 Saturn VUE last month and the switches for the ... Read More

A Voyager is a nice vehicle but never had the "luxury" (or snob?) appeal of Town & Country just as Plymouth was never perceived to be an upscale sedan like Chrysler was for decades before the K cars were introduced. When I looked at the 2002 Kia Sedona EX it appeared on the surface as luxurious and about the size of the 2002 Chrysler Voyager. However, a closer comparison showed that ... Read More

My 2003 Chrysler Voyager LX is still as smooth and quiet as they day I bought it (knock wood). I have absolutely no complaints with the van and am making no plans to replace it. It's my third DC van after a 1993 Dodge Caravan SE and a 2001 Chrysler Voyager (base model). Very pleased. BTW, hansiena, FWIW, I have only been in a couple of Sedonas, but I would say ... Read More

Hello all, our '96 Plymouth Grand Voyager was recently stolen so it put us in the market for another minivan. I hate buying new and taking the $ hit so we went shopping for a used van. Thank God we only shop for a used van every five years...the process SUCKS - even with the internet. Anyway we found a 2003 Chrysler T&C with 1200 miles on it. They swapped out ... Read More
Which engine does it have? Is it set up for towing now? I would be careful buying a vehicle from a rental company--you know how folks treat rental vehicles! If it's been properly maintained then I would think you should have no problems. I used to have a 2001 Chrysler Voyager (the twin van) and drove it with no problems for 2 years until I upgraded to a nicer 2003 model. ... Read More

The rubber stopper on my passenger side sliding door came off on my 2003 Chrysler Voyager LX and I lost it. It's about 2-3 inches down from the top. I went and bought a new rubber piece from the dealership. The service guy told me to stick a thin sharp object (such as a pen or small screwdriver) into the small hole on the top to get the anchoring piece on ... Read More
My 2003 Voyager LX is pretty loaded up. It's got the V6, ABS, quad captains and split folding rear bench, roof rack, etc. It is correct that the Voyager name is no longer offered, but a SWB van is available under the T&C name. A couple of years ago, Chrysler offered the Voyager with power sliding doors and overhead console type options, but that quit for 2003 I believe. I guess ... Read More

My 2003 Voyager LX just turned 9000 miles and so far it runs just like it did the day I bought it last April. I read in the paper that Chrysler is killing the Voyager after this year. Doesn't surprise me. Will that make my 2003 LX a collector's item? ;-)
I bought my 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager in 1999 as a year old car. Loved it! At a year and a half into my ownership, the head gaskets were blown and my mechanic suggested I repair it with the dealer as it was just past the warranty. Big bill which I was partiall reimbursed for after writing a letter to Chrysler. At five years of age the drive belt came off ... Read More
Looks like 2001, 2002, and 2003 Caravans and Voyagers with 6 cylinder engines have a new warranty on their compressors. Apparently there was a problem with the lubrication on some of these, so they are covering all of them for an extended period to guard against ... Read More
I bought my last two vans from Hayes Chrysler in Lawrenceville, GA (Gwinnett County, northeast metro Atlanta) and had two very good experiences. Just got back from a week in Florida in my new 2003 Voyager LX. It did wonderfully. I took out half of the split rear bench and had tons of space. I have noticed three things right away where Chrysler is attempting to save production costs with new vans. My 2001 Voyager had two lights on the inside of the rear hatch for illumination while my 2003 has only one. Since there are not enough Sienna's or Odyssey's for everyone who wants a mini-van, I'm glad there is someone willing to buy other minivans.
