Stohlman Subaru

I recently purchased a Subaru Forester from Stohlman Subaru and had a really good experience. My sales associate was Alex Yakovlev, and I would highly recommend that you consider contacting Alex for your next Subaru purchase. I first contacted the dealership through my employer's "TrueCar" program. Alex responded to my enquiry and was happy to proceed at my speed. He didn't nag me or bug me with daily phone calls, but when I was ready to come in, he made himself available without any fuss. Alex proved to be a straight shooter, very personable, sincere, and importantly, very knowledgeable about the vehicles I was interested in. I came to the dealership twice, and test drove three vehicles, and Alex was very patient, spending a lot of time with me, explaining vehicle features and cost/benefits. My entire interaction with Alex was at my own pace, and he didn't once try to pressure me to make a choice that was wrong for me. I was very impressed. When I met Alex's manager, Al Shibley, I found him to also be very personable, and felt no undue pressure from him either. This "softly softly" approach was perfect for me, and definitely made me come back to this dealership to make a purchase. When it came time to negotiate a price, I showed up ready to buy and in my hand a lower offer from another dealer. Alex took the offer to his manager, and they matched the lower offer without a fuss. The entire "negotiation" took about two minutes. There were no "hidden" fees, no "fine print", no arm-twisting, and no discomfort. In a jiffy, I had a great deal, and everyone was happy. Next, Alex parked my car on his lot for 10 days until I was ready to take delivery. He then came into the dealership nearly 90 minutes BEFORE it opened for business, to release the vehicle to me and do another run through all of the systems. Alex and I spent an hour in the car going over everything and he was as patient with me at this final stage, as he was the very first time he met me. And so, as you can see, I really had a picture-perfect experience here and have nothing but good things to say. You will read one review after another saying good things about Alex, and given my experience, they are all true. I would buy another car from Alex in a heartbeat, and so should you.
