My journey began with Infiniti of Chantilly over 5 years ago. In 2015, I began working with Sheehy of Chantilly but I still had my Sales Associate, James Timber, that I had been working with so I felt comfortable. I reside in the District of Columbia and drive over an hour to come to Chantilly because James always provided me with exceptional service. There are closer Infiniti dealerships but I made the effort to support James. I am currently leasing a Q50 and last month I received a call from Chuck V. to come in and find out what was available so that I could make a choice to opt out of my vehicle early. The day I came in he was available so his associate Isaih provided assistance. He asked what I wanted to pay and I was provided a quote and provided written documentation. I had an appointment scheduled for the following Saturday, however; I was unable to attend due to a death in the family. So now we come to the following weekend. I receive a text about submitting my credit app via online. I do as I am instructed and continue to communicate via text. I felt offended that that I hadnt received a telephone call but did not allow it to bother me. Again, I was accustomed to James, whom made my experience with Infiniti exceptional. Since I didnt receive a follow up call after the application submission, I followed up via email. After my email I received a call from Chuck confirming my 4:00pm appointment. I was baffled at the time since I had not communicated with either Isaih or Chuck to establish a time. I agreed to 4:00pm. Upon my arrival, the sales area was in chaos. Chairs were throughout and I independently walked myself throughout the area until a woman asked if I needed help. I advised her whom I was there to meet with it and she told me they were both out on the lot and someone would be with me. I waited for approximately thirty-minutes before being asked if I could be helped by several other representatives. While waiting, I observed a Indian family walk in similar to myself and look around, they became so annoyed they just walked back out. The irony in it all is that there were several employees inside the employee only foyer area. I am just concerned as to why no one came out to greet them. A caucasian family walks in and ironically they are greeted by Chuck. I proceed to introduce myself and inform him that Im here for our appointment. He informed me he would be right with me but he sat behind the desk of an colleague as he conducted business with the family for their sale. I tried to ignore the conversation but it was hard to ignore as there is no privacy. Finally, now 45-minutes into waiting the Sales Manager comes out to explain that the quote I received was not accurate and I would have to pay a larger monthly payment. I declined and shared my disapproval in #1 waiting for almost an hour, #2 lack of communication from two sales rep #3 wasting my time. I drove him furious at the way I had been treated. Had I purchased a another vehicle it would have been my 4th Infiniti. I will not purchase another vehicle from Sheehy Infiniti but I will ensure that customers are not treated unfairly. Not once was I offered another vehicle option since clearly I am a person who favors Infiniti. The positive side of all of this is that I am now seeking other vehicles. There is no need in considering myself a VIP customer as the tag on my key chain states because I am clearly not a customer they desire to keep.
