Leif Johnson Ford

I saw a Ford Fusion on the dealers website listed as an Internet special. I printed out the information with the price and stock number to take with me. When I got to the dealership, the salesman could not find the vehicle so I had to pick another. They did not even try to match the internet price being how the other vehicle could not be found. The negotiation process took much longer than was necessary being how I filled out an online application to get pre-approved. The last vehicle that I purchased from this dealership was financed through Ford Credit, and I paid that loan off 6 mos early!! They treated me like I was a first time buyer with shaky credit as opposed to a 3rd time buyer with good credit. Just for the record, my credit is good. The vehicle that I traded in was in great shape, and they still tried to lowball me on the trade value. Not a good way to treat a repeat customer! I am quite happy that I was able to drive off the lot with a new car with a payment that I can afford, but I am disappointed that the dealer did not meet my expectations. I let them know what my expectations were before I ever set foot in the door. The main reason why I came back for another vehicle was based on the way the salesman treated me when I bought my 2nd vehicle at Leif Johnson. I wish he could have been there to sell me my 3rd one. He was a real pro! These guys have no idea how close they came to blowing the deal.
