Bad Service Experience- Atlantic Chevy Bayshore, NY

Brought car in for oil change and inspection. Service Advisor tells me that the car barely passed inspection due to threads on right side tires. He said he was surprised since it only had 25K miles and they believe it was under inflated. They quoted me a price for tires and alignment but said they didn't have in stock. I said ok and proceeded to pay for service. I am half way home and notice no new sticker so i head back and the advisor calls the shop and now he states he said the tires didn't pass inspection but the invoice has it passed. I asked to provide the report from NYS to show it failed and according to them they didn't put it on machine because they would have to charge me for a failed inspection. So they refunded the inspection after complaining and when I asked to speak with service manager three times i finally was able to get into the office and he was like well people make mistakes and things like this happen. I said how big of a mistake when one said pass the other said fail. So my response was i get it this place is running a scam to increase sales and don't worry i will never bring my car back to this dealership and never buy another chevy. He goes wow you aren't willing to work with us as i was going to sell u the tire at costs because of this mistake and i said nope have a nice day scammer. The best part of this entire story is that I ended up bringing the car to my old mechanic and the car passed and no issues with the tires. I should've learned my lesson when the sales manager pulled a scam on my trade in when i first bought the car. If this gets published even though this dealership is the cheapest I would never recommend them to anyone because of their business practices of the art of deceiving and trying to scam people!!!!!!!
