Paragon Honda

As I'm in the market for a Toyota Venza 2015 I was happy to see one advertised for sale by Paragon Honda on Edmunds and other sites that satisfied my requirements. I made inquiry on the evening of 3/14/23 as to the availability of the 2015 Toyota Venza advertised for sale. The following morning I received a text message from a “Maria” asking whether I could make an appointment to see the car and I asked whether it was still available, and her response was that it was. Immediately thereafter a salesperson named “Christian” contacted me to confirm the appointment and to tell me that he had sat in the car on this same morning and that it started perfectly. He said he would have it ready for a test drive when I arrived. After leaving work early to arrive at the dealership by the appointed time, I inspected the lot to preview the Venza before speaking with the salesperson. To my dismay, there was no Venza on the lot. When I asked Christian about the car he said that a purchaser from Georgia bought the car ½ hour before I arrived and therefore it was no longer on lot. The absurdity of what he communicated was compounded when I immediately complained to “Patrick” (who represented himself to be the senior manager) who actually said it was possible for someone from out of state to purchase a vehicle in 30 minutes time and complete all necessary title and registration documents to enable them to drive it off the lot within that timeframe. This isn’t solely a case of ignorance in the fabrication of lies but one of willful deception. Avoid this dealership at all costs!
