My BMW 5 Series
Written by 06/02/2021
onI purchased a 5 series BMW IN 2019 with 10,000 miles. It now has 29,000 miles and a rip in the seat at the bolster. The service department supervisor at Sandy Sansing BMW in Pensacola Florida told me that it is wear and tear due to the way I sit in the seat and the way I get in and out of my car. My salesperson Tells me that it looks like faulty leather. BMW wants over 2000.00 for a new seat. I’m very surprised that the service manager said this along with telling my spouse that he didn’t have any record of us purchasing any new BMW. This is my second BMW. I didn’t buy new. I bought both cars with low mileage and warranties. I shouldn’t be treated differently by any service department agent or manager because I didn’t buy a new car. My car is still under warranty, Beware of the way you sit in your seat if you choose to buy a BMW and also be aware that it isn’t in the owners manual showing the proper way to sit in your BMW seat or exiting your BMW. Highly dissatisfied with Sandy Sansing BMW. and Sandy Sandy Sansing BMW service department.
