no appointment... no problem

onAfter sitting unused for a week, I got a "wrench" indicator on my dash. I thought I'd make it a few days before needing service but it was soon obvious the car was not working right. In a few minutes and without an apt I took my chances by going to Chapman (my dealer). They were able to do the diagnosis that day and found the problem quickly... some wires were chewed by something. (rodent of some kind?) We sort of joked about this possibility during the order write-up but unfortunately it turned out to be true. Ford would not cover this under warranty but Chapman worked with my insurance company to get the work completed quickly. John Ferino kept me posted every step of the way. Nothing like returning from vacation and finding out the car you left behind was invaded by rodents! But it's clear that Chapman values its customers and will go the extra mile to help them.
