Dissatisfied with Service

onBE WARE - Do not use this dealer for service. We purchased our first new car from them, completed all the service and took the car in at the first sign of trouble when the car was 2.5 years old (leaking transmission fluid). The dealer indicated the cooling lines were leaking but they were unavailable and had to be backordered. They promised they would call to schedule the repair. After 9 months we had not heard anything, so we took the car in again for service and when we dropped the car off they tried to sell us a coolant service ($159.99), injection service ($169.99), and induction service ($169.99) before even looking at the transmission. We declined the $500 of unnecessary service and asked they check the transmission lines. The lines were still leaking so they charged us $59.88 labor plus $5.99 misc. charges plus tax for a total of $70.81 to tell us what we already knew that the lines were leaking and the fluid was a little low. We attempted to get the dealer and Chevrolet to cover the lines under warranty. Chevy referred us back to the dealer and promised the dealer would contact us in 48-hours, they called 6 days later and offered us a credit to use against the $565 repair cost. We changed the two lines ourselves in about 3 hours for less than half the cost. Stay away from this dealer, they will try to pray on you to perform service that is unnecessary and will over charge for repairs.
