No Quote Over Internet
Written by theresa17 on 06/30/2012
After my first experience of walking into a dealership, I decided to shop for my car on-line, as there are only two dealerships for Hondas in the Syracuse area. Consumers are too busy to spend one or two hours at a dealership only to find the offer is not what they want. I contacted over 25 dealerships within a 150 mile radius of Syracuse to find the best deal. This dealership was quick to respond, however, they failed to make an offer via e-mail. I give them a positive feedback for their time and attention, however not for their willingness to compete over the Internet. My experience with purchasing a vehicle over the Internet was a pleasure. Although I did not purchase my car from this dealership, their prompt replies were great. I would recommend that you contact this dealership, however, do not expect a price quote over the Internet, they will simply say they can beat any written offer. Their desire to sell a vehicle on-line needs to be more competitive.

Fox Honda was the worst experience of my car purchasing life. They have that old school style of sales that makes you wait 10+ minutes each time the floor salesman goes to the sales manager - trust me, they were not that busy. They use the big bold color pens to counter your offer, with standard phrases that I guess are supposed to make you swoon - "best offer ever", and "deal of a lifetime" - just nonsense, so disrespectful. Then when they could not meet my offer, I was looked at as though I was crazy - and they were the only sane people in the room. Just icky stuff - I wanted to shower after. Yuck - and I never write these kinds of letters but wanted to warn buyers. These guys are full of junk, no respect for a buyer.
