They make a used car salesman look like the Pope.

They didn't have the exact vehicle I wanted onsite, they offered to include the navigation package on one they did have onsite. I said I would consider it but wanted to know what the numbers where. When the monthly payment was higher than I wanted, I offered to go to a longer term and put more down myself. What happened was your basic shell game....they had initially offered (aside from the manuf rebates) $300 for my trade in plus the $1,390 for the Nav. package. I offered the longer term plus another $1000 if it got the payment down further, they came back and said we'll give you $1,200 for the car and you only have to put another $500 down, we'll extend the terms and get you where you want. There it is $300+$1,390=$1,690 vs $1,200+$500 (from me)=$1,700. So they removed $500 from their offer to include the Nav. package and had me pay for it, otherwise they just extended the terms. They made me pay for a package I didn't want or request, and that they offered to include. Bring another car in if that's what it takes, don't make me pay for something I don't want!! Also, they could have made the same deal by just extending the terms (there's $10 difference), but they didn't. They made me pay more and went back on their offer to include the Nav. package. Dishonest, unethical, lying, where do I stop?? After waiting a month to get a response (I travel often for work and therefore requested they return contact by email), I've given up. I've told them to remove me from any email subscriptions, and that I don't even want to come in for the free 1st oil change they offer to new car buyers, I just don't trust them. How can you trust anyone in the BOH if that's how they operate in the front. I've also removed all the dealer badging today as I don't want to be an advertisement for GMF. Anyway, that's my story/opinion and I offer it for your review so possibly you can be better informed/prepared when buying a car (from them or others).
