Not a luxury experience

onI purchased a used Audi A6 from Audi North Atlanta. I called and made an offer over the phone on the A6 that I found online. When we agreed to a price, they took my credit card number to remove the car from the market and hold it. We agreed that I would pick up and purchase the car 4 days later on a Saturday. My insurance information was sent to them 2 days before I was scheduled to pick up the car. There was no financing involved; it was a cash deal. When I arrived at the appointed time on Saturday, none of the paperwork was ready and the car had not been cleaned. It took an unbelievable 2 1/2 disorganized hours to complete the paperwork and get the car cleaned for a purchase they knew about 4 days in advance. It is not as if I spent the entire time filling out and signing documents. I mostly sat alone at a desk and every ten or twenty minutes, an agent would appear, have me sign a paper, and then disappear again. It seemed to be the first car they had ever sold. After 2 1/2 hours one would expect that Audi would have obtained all necessary information but not so; they actually called a week later requesting a faxed copy of my spouse's driver's license which they stated they needed to process the title although the car is not being titled in my spouse's name. Audi may claim to be a luxury brand but this was not a luxury experience. I would recommend going anywhere but Audi of North Atlanta. The car should have been clean and the paperwork completed prior to my arrival. This is the most inept dealership with which I have ever done business.
