My negative Cox CHEVROLET Experience
Written by William Tallhamer on 05/02/2020
This is a genuine complaint and request in a termination of my current GM financial contract involves my experience with the following Employees of Cox Chevrolet: Oscar Acosta- New vehicle director, C Y Young - sales associate, Neal Ayass-financing, Steve Himmel - financing. This Company is supposed to represent first responders, nurses and them as a chevy customer. I being a registered nurse did not receive this. The sales man was disorganized, sold me the wrong vehicle (that i drove for 2 weeks), switched vehicles now that I currently have does not mechanically operate efficient, the financing lied to my face stating i was required to purchase chevy protection plans/gap coverage. The General Manager stated he would make this right and didn’t come through on his word, even stating to that “ Cox Chevrolet [non-permissible content removed] up and he would make it right”. As i sat there In the financing room I asked an employee “ do you honestly tell these clients the truth or do you lie to get more money?” He (steve himmel) responded, “ we have the choice to do either one”. My heart honestly sank in my chest. I couldn’t believe this guy just said this. This was so disrespectful and so crazy that you (Kris and Tammy Cox ) have employee’s like this representing your company. I’m a 27 year old kid who was trying to buy his first car from a company that supposedly respects registered nurses who are putting their lives on the line everyday, especially during this crazy season to take care of peoples lives and loved one’s everyday, risking our own....I thought you (Kris and Tammy Cox) would see that and have your company presented with people that actually cared more about taking care of people then ripping them off and taking advantage of them. As I walk out of your Cox Dealership today Kris and Tammy. Instead of having happiness of a new car, I’ve felt betrayed, mislead, misguided, disrespected, outspoken and mostly taken advantage of. This vehicle experience and the treatment by your employees has put such a disheartening place in my chest and makes me feel so sick and terrible about my decision to come step into your doors.
