I don't know how long I'm gonna wait until trading but the Scion tC is right at the top of my "futures" list, along with Kia's 2005 Sportage. The better trade-in deal may be the one I go with eventually. The other point in the tC's favor with me ... Read More

does the Scion tC come with standard seat heaters, too? Or are they optional? If they're standard then that will about seal the deal for me! No kidding! There'll be no arguing with the wife over whether we buy the 2005 Kia Sportage or the 2005 Scion tC. The Scion tC will win hands down. No, seriously, does the tC come with seat heaters for both front seats? Ya gotta be ... Read More

do you guys feel that your OEM Potenza's take the bumps all right? Or are the bumps all felt pretty strong? I am already planning my next set of tires for the car before I've even bought the tC! I must like this new Scion a lot! I'm leaning toward the Yokohama's because I sure liked them on my '99 Sephia. The car handled so much better after getting them. Who ... Read More

concerning not buying a first year rig...I think that a few little bugs may be ironed out in the next model year. Like the "3rd gear popping out and going into neutral on it's own" for instance. Scion engineers may or may not revise the stereo cover, stereo controls and/or the loosening bolts on the moonroof. Every time I type these out I wonder what the really big deal is, ya ... Read More

much to let those problems you mentioned stop me from pursuing it. The cover over the cargo area being off-kilter a tad is the least of the problems IMO. The stereo cover is not a big deal to me at all. The center "1/3rd" of the rear brake light coming on when the brake pedal is applied is probably the most annoying one to me, unless Scion designers actually want it ... Read More

I,too, am about a year away from trading in on my next car. This Scion tC is probably my choice, unless Kia's new 2005 Sportage is too cool to pass up. My wife loves our current ride, a 2001 Kia Sportage 4x4, and it has been a great little SUV. The tC is a great looking little coupe...I doubt that Scion would raise prices much if they do at all. Something ... Read More

Hello I'm John. I have a 2005 Silver Streak Mica Scion tC 5-speed. The only option I got was floor mats. I love this car. I can not ask for a single thing more for the price of this car. I hope everyone else loves this car as much as I do.

Here is the quote from the article: "The Camry also donates to the tC its buttery five-speed manual, albeit with a revised linkage and shorter gear ratios and the optional four-speed auto." Yes, gear ratios are shorter for 5 speed manual, but I believe that the 4 speed auto is unchanged. Refer to the quote from this test drive: http://www.nctd.com/printversion-review.cfm?Vehicle=2005_Scion_tC- &ReviewID=1566 "The transmission gearing in the automatic that we drove for ... Read More

I'm pretty stoked about this car. Before, I was pretty set on getting the 2005 Chevy Cobalt SS when it comes out. But then I saw this Scion Tc. I love the interior too. Very clean and well flowing design. Whereas the Chevy looks like more of the same. The Cobalt's interior is nice but it just looks...blah. You know? And I have a GM Card too.
