2013 Lexus GS 350: Heads Up Display

I managed to catch this shot of the GS's heads up display while crossing through the shadow cast by and overpass which makes it easier to see. It?s plenty bright, but hard to capture with the camera.

The display is configurable with multiple displays including one with a digital speedometer and Eco display. Its location can be adjusted vertically and it can be switched off with a button to the left of the wheel.

It works well enough if you like this sort of thing. Would you pay $900 for this?

No, never in a 100 years would I part with $900 for a redundant display that looks like its from an 80's Lincoln.

I don't know if I'd specifically order it, but its presence is not a dealbreaker. It's a nifty gadget that costs a small fraction of the total price of this $60k luxury car.

Happily. The reduced distraction time from not looking down is a nice thing to have.

Drop the "s" please. The correct name for this technology is Head Up Display. Nice to see Toyota catch up with technology that the Corvette has had since 1999. It is a nice feature though. I loved it on my '02 Z06.
