Hawk Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram

Buying a car through Hawk was a surprisingly easy experience. The sales rep I worked with, Chris, was very responsive. Unlike the 7 other dealers I emailed for quotes, he responded with exactly the information I requested. I had asked for dealer's invoice and a price quote with a breakdown of all the options, taxes, fees, and incentives. We kept up a regular correspondence until I was ready to buy during which he always answered all my questions. Negotiations at the dealership were very easy. Chris came in on his day off and stayed late to accommodate us. They accepted our offer, which was below the TMV price without all the bickering I would have expected. In fact, I think it threw my husband, who spends his days negotiating deals. The negotiations for the trade-in value of our truck and also the APR on our financing were equally as satisfying. The only dissatisfying part of the experience came in the F&I office. The finance manager (Mike I think) didn't try to sell us a bunch products we didn't need or use any kind of pressure. However, when my husband noticed a small difference in price he said he would change it. What he did was change the total and then added the change as an optional fee on the line under it. He also continued to make snide comments on the silliness of the change after he made it, despite the fact that I'm sure he could tell I was embarrassed by it. The change was very minuscule but the way he handled was rude. Despite that small hiccup, I thought everyone involved in the process was very helpful and made it a low stress experience for me.
