DISAPPOINTING Visit
Written by 07/07/2018
onI contacted this dealership after noticing a suv we were interested in. I got a quick response back from Alec and we even connected on the phone and decided to go in for an appt. on July 7, 2018. He told us what building to go. Once we got there we were told Alec was in another department and they would find another salesman who had about three other customers at the same time. His name was Christian and he seemed nice let us drive two suv's on our own and would come outside once we returned. We decided on one vehicle wanting to trade in our current vehicle. He was pretty quick to get us a quote and wanted to proceed. Christian brings us out some generic finance paper with no interest rates just an approximate payment amount. We've bought many cars before this and never seen such a broad paper in any other dealership so we started to question and he seemed to get kind of aggrivated. He asked us to sign a paper that doesn't hold us into any payment would just let them proceed with financing papers. We sign it and he takes us to Jared Voss (financial). When we began speaking to him about interest rate and payment he seemed to talk to us with an attitude like we were stupid. He said he was waiting on one bank to call him back. Then he comes back and gives us a quote which he says is his best he can do. We tell him we'd like a moment of privacy and he disappears, we wait and wait and then decide to leave not knowing where to find him. As we go to get in our car the salesman from the other building approaches and says Jared was looking for us. We tell him he disappeared the salesman asks us to meet him at the front of the other building. So we do, and as I walk inside the salesman says Jared is talking to the general manager and has great news for us. We decide to go back in and the salesman takes us back to Jared who has a look of why are we here. He gives us the same payment he worked out and asks why we signed the paper from the salesman if we wanted a certain payment like he's mad at us. At this point we were done, what a waste of time. They also told us our vehicle needed tires which is why they gave us a lower trade in amount. This is a lie our tires are fine.
ON top of all this the salesman calls to accuse us of taking one of the vehicle keys on the car we test drove. Come on, I could go elsewhere and wouldn't have this nonsense.
If you want impeccable service go to Marquardt Barrington, IL. You will see what red carpet service is and will be treated like decent human beings and feel appreciated.
