Walker's Renton Mazda

I was interested in a 2009 Mazda 6, and had gotten in contact with few dealers to get an initial price comparison. I was put in contact with Doug Troung, the Internet Manager at Walkers Renton Mazda. Initially, he was prompt and friendly and seemed like a good person to work with, he even said he was "going to give me his full attention". After the first couple of emails, he started contacting me each day over phone, I asked if he wouldn't mind talking via email, as I have a lot of problems with my phone service. He agreed, but his attention was elsewhere. At no point did he reply to my emails with answers to my questions. All he would really say in his email was that I should come on down to the dealership to talk with him. I had no intention of doing that until I had first talked over email to get a decent idea of what I was getting into. He persisted and never stopped asking me to "come on down"; He even threw in a few phone calls stating the same thing, even after I had asked to to contact me via email. Eventually, I just stopped responding to him because I was getting annoyed of not getting any answers and getting nowhere with information. I never actually got an initial quote from him about the car. The whole while I was talking with other dealers who where perfectly happy answering my questions and giving me quotes. It wasn't until I followed up with Doug and stated that I had an offer from another dealer I was willing to take, before he gave me a quote. As expected, his quote was less than attractive. I am happy I didn't get close to buying from Walker's Renton Mazda. I felt like he was trying to make a quick sale rather than help my find what I wanted and work with me on a price that was fair to the both of us.
