onThis is my 6th new Toyota product purchase, and this one was by far the best experience I have ever had in buying a new vehicle. I usually do my research to get the invoice price of all the trim lines and options, and work up an offer I am prepared to make for a specific vehicle. Then I prepare myself for the unpleasant haggling I must endure to make the deal that I had become accustom to in the past. However, using Consumer Reports for this research, I came across a new way of getting quotes for a vehicle. This service is provided through Consumer Reports and TrueCar, and quotes from 3 participating dealers were promptly sent to my email. I found all the quotes very competitive with my pre-calculated offer price, and so all I had to do was select the dealer to find the exact car I was looking for. I chose Durant Toyota, primarily because they were located closest to me. Cody C. was my internet sales assistant at Durant and assisted me in locating the car with the specific trim and options I was looking for, and arranged to have the vehicle delivered to the dealership. Everything about the experience was stress free and honest, with no unpleasant surprises at the end, as I have had in the past. The quoted out-the-door price was exactly what I paid, right down to the penny.
Cody was very pleasant to work with, and his fairness and honesty is truly a mark of excellence in this business. I would recommend this dealer to anyone wanting a fair and honest car buying experience.
