BUYER BEWARE DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES IN SALES AND FINANCE
Written by notevenakiss on 07/10/2016
Buyer beware!! Extremely deceptive in sales and finance on new vehicle. Price in advertising and sale was one price then price was switched at finance dept. Only noticed after signing then told it was a 'legal binding contract'. So I was done over by this dealership...especially the finance department.

Dealer Response
Ms Cutler was actually sold vehicle for $11 less then our online advertised price. Our advertised price includes all available rebates and incentives, plus accessories; and website has disclaimer to contact dealer for pricing details. She was also given extra $500 on her trade, in order to go ahead and earn her business. When she arrived at store, we went over price and how it was with financing with NMAC, plus TTL, and plus the accessories that she wanted added to the vehicle. This was all written out on a 4 Square Presentation. We also showed her, with this same number presentation, how she would lose available rebate for incentivized financing. This was all done before she went in to our finance office, with Finance Manager, to finalize paperwork. At this point, Ms Cutler was ready to move forward. Our Finance Manager not only went over numbers line by line with customer, but also went over these same numbers with her daughter over phone. We did this because customer wanted her daughter, who had a finance degree, to verify final numbers. Our Finance Manager explained again, that in order to get all rebates available, you had to finance with NMAC. And if she chose to do an incentivized financed rate with NMAC, she would no longer get the rebate that was available. With her daughter still on speaker phone to help counsel Ms Cutler, she agreed to deal and finalized by signing contract. When she had questions about her purchase days after, she contacted our Finance Manager who went over everything again. Our Owner Loyalty Manager also contacted her when she was informed that she wasn't happy and she tried to explain it to Ms Cutler as well. At that point, I was informed by our Owner Loyalty Manager about her concerns and called her. I also went over numbers with her and broke everything down line by line and also showed her where her rebates were applied and how we had not only given her the $11 discount from advertised price, but did not charge her for our standard added accessories that we put on the truck (Nitrogen, Wheel Locks, and Window Tint). I peacefully explained to her our advertised price, went over disclaimer, and advised her where her rebates were applied and she continued to be disgruntled and how we were just crooked and deceptive and how she was contacting her lawyer. She then hung up on me. Brian Canales GSM Pete Mankins Nissan
