Friendly Chevrolet

Found a new 2017 Suburban through edmunds connection with Friendly that appeared to be a reasonable price. Allowed dealer to contact me via edmunds web inquiries. Internet salesman called me and we discussed the auto. I made an offer that the salesman said he would write up and deliver to the sales manager and call me back. Never heard from the salesman or anyone else at Friendly again. Called them 2 days later and they said the salesman would give me a call. Again, never heard back from anyone. Puzzling that they would turn down the opportunity to make a sale. It would have been nice to at least received a call back saying they rejected my offer and would like to negotiate further. Maybe they never had the car the first place. Or maybe they were hoping that giving quoting me a great internet price would get me in the door and then tell me the car is either no longer available or hit me with a bunch of extra dealer fees. Guess I'll never know.
