Didn't fix that car

Took my vehicle in to have the shifter cable replace due to a current recall. My car would not come out of park because of this, the dealership said that it was fixed but a day later it happened again. I took it back and they had it a day and a half, they finally called to tell me that now my transmission shifter solenoid was bad and that it would be $800 to fix. I took the car immediately to another mechanic because the dealership said that it wasn't part of the recall and I didn't want to pay that amount if I didn't have to. The other mechanic told me to take it back to the dealership after he looked at it because more than likely they caused the damage when they were replacing the bushing. I called and spoke to the manager and he told me that the tech said they didn't damage it and that the recall was all they were told to fix and that they weren't told to fix the issue with the car not coming out of park. I have the paper work that states why the car was there and it states that, that was the reason I brought it in.
