Dealership Sales Review

Cheap, rude, [violative content deleted]!

onI went to check out a pre-owned Mazda 3. The price and features seemed on target with what I was looking for. I was the only customer there on a Saturday afternoon.
Lie #1:
I was told over the phone that the car was equipped with Xenon headlights. When I arrived, the saleswoman Beth insisted that the car was equipped with said lights. I got in the car, turned on the lights, and they were regular projectors. She blamed this lie on her mechanic, saying the mechanic told her they were installed. I drove 2 hours to see this car, and I was angry that I was lied to.
Rude:
The finance/sales manager would not accept the fact that I wanted to check with my insurance company to see if my insurance would go up. The office was closed on a Saturday, and I couldn't get anyone on the phone. He tried to tell me my insurance would actually go down, and wouldn't let me out of the dealership stating my fears were completely invalid and that I was wasting his time because I wasn't interested in the car. Sure enough, I called on Monday, and it would be a few hundred dollars extra.
Cheap:
I told them I would purchase the car if they changed the tires. They refused. The tires were summer only tires, which doesn't make sense in New England. I would have taken a set of all seasons. They wouldn't even discount a set of steel wheels and snow tires.
Lie #2:
I was assured if the deal fell through, I would get my deposit back. More than 40 days later, I still do not have it back. I've disputed the charges with my credit card company.
I will never go back to Flood Mazda for anything.
