Manager: Pete Maxwell.
Negotiated with Bobby Lee via phone a sale price of 35k out-the-door/taxes/tags included. Bobby said have to speak with Manager, does so, returns and says we have a deal, when can you coming in? Informed Bobby, my wife will have to test ride as vehicle for her and should be in today or the next day. Did not make it in that day.
Following day, Bobby calls to find out when we are coming in? Called him back and said will try today. On the day after negotiating sale price, Bobby asks how much financing and down payment information. Informed, 10k down finance 25k. Asked Bobby for invoice on price break down, said okay no problem.
Later that evening, wife arrives to test drive, afterwards sitting on Bobby's desk sees invoice with selling price of 45k for vehicle with 10k down, financing 35k. Wife informs Bobby, husband said 35k OTD price, why 45k selling price????? Bobby said, oh No, you are financing 35k with 10k down.
HUH, where did that price come from???? I spoke to Bobby Lee the day after the negotiated price of 35k OTD about financing and down payment information...the day after and now he reneges on the deal.
Bobby Lee and Pete Maxwell said if you can provide the "code rebates" they will honor the 35k price tag??? "Code rebates?" what "code rebates?" What about code of ethics, code of honor, code of not being deceitful with bait and switch sales practices.
Should have known, as never received price break down as requested. Bobby Lee kept texting and calling to find out when we would arrive to the dealership.
BE FOREWARNED-DECEITFUL SALES TACTICS-BAIT & SWITCH.
