Great day car shopping
Written by 06/22/2013
onI was in the market for a new jeep and ready to purchase.
So I stole my wife's 2013 beetle and headed off car shopping
Initially I was looking at used jeeps 1 or 2 years old but soon realised that I could buy a new one for less ( strange but true)
Nine o'clock Saturday morning I found myself on the lot of mike toler jeep and was greeted by a salesman. As I knew exactly what model I wanted I informed him to what I was looking for ( orange base sport model stick shift).
mike toler (owner) introduced himself and as they did not have what I was looking for hit the computer to try and find one but there was not an orange one with the spec I wanted on the east coast other than one that had a lift kit installed.
As it is a discontinued colour I had to reboot and opted for white.
The was one local yippee.
So jeep found and gave my price and indicated it is a firm offer
of which they agreed to.
I then asked my salesman would it be possible to upgrade wheels and add running boards to which he said follow me and toke me back to service.
I was shown some real nice wheels that where take offs from a unlimited that they had put a lift kit on and quoted me a price which seemed reasonable also some running boards from a Sahara.
I said could you fit them today?
Sure was the reply
I did not know all the work involved in changing wheels but as the tire pressure monitors had to come out of my jeep there was a lot of work involved
Paperwork was done at lightning speed.
Delivery did take a long time but it was my fault as it toke so long to do all the mods I wanted (four the has working on it for several hours)
All in all Mike toler runs a stand up dealership
And I am without doubt any issues that may arise will be dealt with immediately.
