onThis is my first time trying to purchase a brand new car from a dealership. Prior to this the only car sales process I have been through is a smaller car lot and then Carmax after that. With that being said I feel that even though my sales rep was amazing and very friendly I still felt neglected and out of the loop on a lot of my car buying experience.
I went to the dealership looking for a specific color/mod/etc and was very intent on doing my best to get what I wanted for the amount of money I would spending. I feel that I received a lack of clear concise information on how the process truly worked and I ended up putting down a deposit for a “maybe we can get you the vehicle color you want, but just in case pick 2 other colors”, and I was out of the entire searching, finding, and even talking about my options from that point on.
I hope this doesn’t come off as sporadic but I’m trying to just explain that all in all I would have wished to be more in the loop a part of the entire process rather than just told to swipe my card and have a good day by a finance manager and be left wondering if I would end up with what vehicle I had in mind when speaking to my sales rep.

For the questions following I haven’t purchased the vehicle yet due to waiting for it to ship and the vehicle will be new.
