Poor customer service!!!

onDon't expect good customer service from this dealership! Over the past 7 years, I have leased 3 Nissan Altima's. Since I live an hour away I have my fiancé, who is an ASE certified technician, do all the maintenance. My current leased Altima reached 36,000 last week and this week the check engine light came on (at only 36,488). After calling this dealership and speaking with the service, sales, and general managers and explaining to them this is my 3rd lease, I have been told I will be charged for what is probably a simple matter of hooking up a computer to the car and correcting a software problem.
I believe this is the problem because my fiancé was able to connect to the car and read the code my vehicle is showing. He is not able to fix the problem because his dealership is not Nissan and thus doesn't have the correct software needed to correct the problem. What really gets me is I have been told if a part needs to be replaced it would be no cost. The general manager bases his denial of fixing the problem on me not driving 2 hours round trip to change the oil in my car.
You would think that 30 minutes of labor could be offered to correct this problem. Instead Sheehy Nissan would rather see this loyal customer go somewhere else for their next lease - which will be within the next 6 months. Where has customer service gone in today's business environment? I could understand if the car had 37,000 miles or more on it, but less than 500 miles out of the 36,000 mile warranty and a loyal customer who has leased 3 vehicles from the same dealership.... Just doesn't make sense to me!!!
