I purchased a 2017 Huyndai Sonata Sport on December 28,2016. Before I had driven 20 miles from the dealership the front left tire failed. I returned immediately to the dealership and they said that I needed a new tire because There was a screw in the tread. They charged me a 165.00 dollars for the tire when obviously the tire was damaged prior to my accepting delivery. If you cannot pick up a new vehicle and drive it 20 miles without if failing there is something wrong with this dealership. John S.

I complained to the owner of the dealership, Faith Massey, who offered me a free detail. I told her this was unacceptable and she did refund my 165 dollars. What really bothers me is that when closing on the deal the finance mgr tried to get me to accept a warranty deal which is really an insurance policy for 5760.00 dollar which would be added to my loan amount. I declined this offer, and he made the point that this policy protected road hazards on the tire. This is why I was suspicious of the screw in tire theory of the tire's failure. I would hope that dealers would be so aggressive in offering these questionable insuraance ie, warranty policies. John S
