Happy Little Lady

If you just want the bottom line if I was happy with my experience at Anderson Toyota ... the answer is YES! I was/am very happy and look forward to doing business with Danny Miethke again when my lease is up and making Anderson Toyota my new car dealership. If you want to hear my full story of their dedication and how they went above and beyond to make sure I and every customer is completely happy, then grab a cup of coffee and set back and relax while I share my experience. Who knows ... my story just might be very similar to yours and what you are looking for! It was that time! The time that most people dread, at least I know I do. CAR SHOPPING! I was in NO hurry and knew exactly what I wanted. Had to have AWD for our winter roads, and had to be big enough to load all my Tastefully Simple products and displays in for expo events, but yet able to seat 7-8 passengers for when we attend conferences both in and out of state, take the grand kids to the Fireside to see a play every now and then, or load up the dog and camping "stuff" to head up to Dells. My husband actually started the leg work for me and looked at Subaru and Nissan and found a Nissan Pathfinder, which he took me to look at. To make a long story short, I had to go back alone to sign the paperwork and pick up the vehicle, and after signing 3 different sets of papers, I walked out! It could have been miscommunication, or a misunderstanding, but I was NOT signing papers on the deal I thought I was signing on and at that point, they lost my business and my trust. Then I started to do my own research on line before even considering dealing with sales people again. I compared all brands of vehicles to my GMC Acadia, I had it narrowed down based on ground clearance, maximum cargo capacity, number of seating, and crash ratings. It basically came down to another Acadia, Chevy Traverse, or Buick Enclave, which were all equivalent in size. I ended up test driving the Traverse and picked out the "package" I felt I needed. My husband however wanted me to check out the Toyota Highlander. Even though I knew the cargo space was smaller, and at this point I had the Traverse all picked out, I did the good "wife thing" and humored him and we stopped together to look at Toyota. We were greeted by Danny Miethke in a very friendly and professional manner. He took the time to listen to my needs and wants and showed me the vehicle we came to look at. Then he politely recommended another vehicle for me to look at ... the Toyota Sienna van. A van! I'm not a soccer mom! I drive a SUV and I need AWD for the winter. (I had NO clue they make vans now with AWD!) We had a few minutes to take a look at them .... and for my Tastefully Simple business ... the Sienna was PERFECT! It had seating for 7 for our team and/or family trips, and when I had to load it for expos, I could fold the back seats down into the floor and had my choice to either remove the second row of seating entirely or fold them up and push them all the way to the front. It had a TON of room! 150.0 cu ft to be exact, compared to my 116 cu ft with the Acadia. This would be great! Fast forward ... we did not have time that night to test drive the vehicle due to a previous commitment, and with my husband's schedule, the rest of the dealings with Anderson Toyota and Danny were on my own. When I went back to test drive the vehicle, out of all the sales people I have dealt with over my adult life (6 cars later), he has been the only one to take some time to get to know me and not only understand my needs for a vehicle, but to also see past those needs and provide me with a car that had other attributes that I did not even know I would need or enjoy. At the time they did not have an AWD vehicle on the lot, and rather then just trying to get me into a "car" just to get me into one, Danny made sure I was going to be happy and informed me more cars would be arriving in 6 days. Now 6 days is a long time and a lot can happen. After all, when I came in to "look", I already walked away from one deal and had my mind made up that I was buying a Chevy. But Danny put his trust in me that I would be back, and I put my trust in him that he would do me right! I got the call 3 days later that my car had arrived, and was so excited, I cut our camping trip short to drive home to take a look. You see ... I did not "pick out" this car, I did not design it or order it, I let Danny know my wants and needs and put my trust in him that he would deliver! And he did! At no point during any of this did I ever feel pressured to buy. Danny made sure he knew the payments were where I would be comfortable, took his time explaining options of financing/buying or leasing, and worked with me to get me the best deal. Even after the deal was "done", Danny was great and took time to make sure I understood all the features on the car, even rode with me to practice backing into a parking place using the rear camera, and was happy to poise for a family portrait! I drove my new Toyota Sienna off the parking lot and straight home and parked it in the garage. But wait ... the story does not end there. That night I was wondering if I did the right thing! Not in buying the vehicle, but I choose to do a lease rather then financing to buy. You see, I have never owned a foreign car before, or even a van, so I thought leasing might be a good route to go "just in case" I was not happy. But then just had that unsettling feeling inside of me. I gave Danny a call and told him I wasn't sure I went the right route for me! Within no time, Doug Farley, a General Manager, gave me a call to answer any questions or concerns that I had regarding the lease and was even willing to set down with me a day later to go over everything with me face to face to make sure everything was OK. It has been a few days now and I have been driving the car to work, to the grocery store, running errands. And the only complaint I have .... is why I didn't do this sooner!! I LOVE the Sienna and I love how great Danny and the whole team was to work with .... Ken, Doug and Laura. Sure ... I don't know how it will be this winter, but one thing I do know ... if I have any issues or concerns, all I have to do is give Danny a call and he will be right there to assist me with whatever I need! Thank you again to everyone at Anderson Toyota ... and especially Danny Miethke! It was a great experience and a pleasure working with you! I am driving an AMAZING car that I fall more in love with everyday, and I can't wait to meet more of the staff and check the rest of the service out when I bring it back for Toyota's free 5,000 mile inspection! Stay tuned for that review to come!!! :-)
