DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM HERE

I went into Napleton with high expectations after looking at all the reviews. Although I was interested in a used Jeep and it’s a Honda dealership, I assumed they would have the same integrity for all the cars they sold. I initially worked with a salesmen Cortez (who was great) and then was passed off to Eliodoro aka Lolo. The first issue I came across was when I went to test drive the vehicle it has not been cleaned out at all. I was promised by Cortez that if I purchased the vehicle, it would be fully detailed. However, after I purchased the car and got ready to pull off the lot, not only was it not fully detailed but my windshield also had a crack in it that was not there when I test drove it. I then brought it to Lolo’s attention and he told me he would be in contact with me by 12:30 pm the next day after he had talked to a manager. After I was not called by 4:00 pm, I then returned to the dealership where I talked to the manager Eddie who was very helpful and scheduled an appointment to get it fixed. After this, I felt it was necessary to have my car throughly inspected my a Jeep Dealership and Auto Body shop. The dealership told me that nothing was wrong with the car itself, but my tires are almost “dangerously bald.” The cost of new tires averaged around $1,000,-1,200. While I was upset about this, I took accountability for not having the tires checked properly before buying it. In regards to the body on my car, I had noticed I had a scrape on the back of my car that was poorly filled in with paint. I then found another long scrape on the side that had been filled in poorly with paint As well that I didn’t notice when I test drove and looked at the car initially. Three different auto bodies quoted between $700-1100. My mom and I were told by Lolo that I had 15 days to return the used car for any reason. However, that turned out not to be true. I then returned to the dealership and let them know of the damage on the car. I did not get the managers name that I spoke with but he basically tried to tell me that it’s a used car and things like broken windshields and scrapes happen. While I understand that it’s a used car, it’s the lack of integrity for me. The deals on their used cars may seem good here but I would advise anyone PLEASE INSPECT THE CAR THOROUGHLY BEFORE PURCHASING IT! I really try to patronize this community, but unfortunately I can no longer do that. Please save yourself the stress and go to Matteson over this Honda Dealership.
