Zero after sales care - not acceptable!
Written by 04/28/2011
onI purchased a used Lexus here for a little more than $20k and other than the 6 hours or so I spent in the showroom waiting on people, the experience wasn't bad.
There was a small blemish on the vehicle that they said they would have taken care of by someone near to me in Orlando but this never happened.
They ignored my calls, didn't respond to my messages and when I eventually got someone to talk with (sales manager I believe), he said that I would have to drive to Tampa and leave the car with them to have the repair done.
This is a minor repair that can be done by any mobile chip repair guy yet they want me to lose another day or so waiting on my car to be fixed.
The battery also failed a few weeks after getting the car which they don't have any control over but the sticker clearly said on one side that the battery was covered under warranty for 30 days.
When I brought this to the manager's attention, he said that they only comply with the other side of the sticker.
Ridiculous thing to say and is it really worth them losing their reputation over a couple of silly little things that they could easily have resolved.
What happened to customer service?
You will get the service, but once they have your money, you are nothing but an irritation to them so buy else where as they don't deserve the custom.
Repeat custom is the cheapest custom to gain and saves a fortune on advertizing but these guys have not learned this yet.
I love my car, & not that bothered about the dead battery or blemish but I do not like getting ignored or lied to.
I wrote this review around 5 months after getting the car and have given them lots of opportunity to put matters right but they don't give a damn; give your money to people that care!
