Dealership Sales Review

Not worth the couple hundred dollars...

onThis was a horrible dealership. The initial paperwork process was completely disorganized and I had to make several phone calls to get details straight. While they gave me the price I wanted, they failed to tell me about the locations where the warranties and lifetime oil changes were valid, and also failed to tell me that the $500 loyalty cash was "included in the price" to "get me to where I wanted to be". By rights, that should have been my money to put toward the deposit, not jack the price of the car $500 so they could make some few extra bucks. The sales manager who "negotiated" the price with me was friendly and willing to deal until he found out we were financing with another company, then he didn't give me the time of day and was rude when I spoke to him. Oh and regarding the 0% APR deal, it was NOT the best deal I could have gotten, which is why we ended up financing elsewhere. That was a big lie as well. And why did I have to fight so hard not to pay for Toyoguard when I didn't want it on the vehicle to begin with? Putting it on in advance and then fighting not to pay for it was a huge waste of energy and time. Daytona Toyota has called twice since I purchased the vehicle and I hope they stop calling and I never have to deal with them again. I will give up my lifetime oil changes and extended power train warranty to be done with them for good.
