onI just renewed a lease on a G. Its my third consecutive G35/37 so the decision process for me was pretty easy. I went in knowing the model and options and had the Edmunds TMV report in hand. Their first offer had the car valued about $1250 above the TMV. I asked them to match the TMV and to include a change of tires at 24 months (the 36 month lease is a good deal but I know I wear out this car's tires in 24. Spending $600 on tires right before turning in the car is painful). The salesman brought me into the manager's office (he exists), he matched the TMV, threw in the tires and we signed a deal. My "$3000 discount" left the dealer a profit of about $500 over invoice which I think is fair. He had a computer program open that made it easy to change the price of the vehicle, the miles and the downpayment to see how the monthly payment varied on 3 different lease terms. All the information was there in a pretty easy format that did not make me suspicious that the lease deal was being gamed somehow.
My other experiences here were similar. If you are prepared before you go in and have realistic expectations you will not have a hard time at all with these guys.
