Didn't get a loaner despite vehicle needing 2-3 days of service

onI like AutoNation Ford and I enjoy the relationship I have with my service technician. This review pertains to the experience I had with AutoNation rather than with the tech.
I am a bit disappointed with my last experience because I had an open recall and an electrical issue with my windows. I called into the service center before my appointment and was informed my car would need to be in the shop for at least 1-2 days and that I would be given a loaner.
When I dropped my vehicle off, I asked for a loaner but was denied one. I had no car or means of transportation that entire time. The shop knew this was going to be a long task so I am a bit perplexed why I was not given a loaner car. I had to arrange work rides and pay for my own Uber for the next 2 days.
It is more of a bummer because I have always had a good experience with AutoNation Ford.
