Toyota Marin Certified Used Vehicles

So get this, I went to this dealership and spent over 8 hours with them. I had my heart set on a Green Toyota Prius, and as I was signing the papers when another customer came in wanting the same vehicle. Despite the dealership's claim that it is a "first come, first serve" environment, they sold the car to the other customer. It gets so much worse from here. I go out onto the lot, find a different car I like, and come back in to do the paperwork only to find that they changed the interest rate on me a whole 3%. After an hour of haggling, I got them to get the rate close to where we started, but even that was a hastle. I end up signing all of the paperwork, putting a down payment on the car out of my own pocket, shaking the financial manager's hand, and leaving. I needed to use a cosigner so they were supposed to send out the paperwork Monday morning. I don't hear a word from them the next day. Tuesday comes, and nothing. I try and get into contact, and they finally call me and my cosigner Wednesday informing me everything was good to go. Thursday comes, and they tell me that I need to put a bigger down payment on the car in order for the deal to go through. I say fine, lets do it. They call me back again, and tell me that it is unfortunate, but they Sold My Car To Another Customer!!! The manager told me that a customer came in Tuesday, keep in mind this is two days prior to them informing me of this information, and they sold the car to him. They claim that no one was aware that the car was sold pending a final signing of the paperwork. No one entered anything into the system,and no one bothered to put a lowsy Sold sign on the car. After I gave them my own money out of my pocket and spending over 8 hours in their dealership, this is what I get for taking my business to Toyota Marin. They are the most unorganized, unprofessional, lazy, and uncommunicative bunch of people I have ever had to deal with and ever met in my life. Don't listen to what other reviews say about this place. It is horrible, and not worth anyone's time. I hope that whoever reads this review takes it into consideration when buying their car. Buy your car from a dealership that cares about the people they work with. One that is ontop of their stuff, and actually know what they are talking about. Don't give your money to these people, they definitely don't deserve it. Thanks for reading my review!
