Incorrect Ads on website & don't deal
Written by 02/01/2015
onGosch Toyota had a killer add for a 2015 regular Prius model five advertised for $26,815 with all of the options loaded inside. Not only did I request the eprice, but also sent an email to Terry Gonzalez, their Internet Sales Manager, asking if it was indeed a model five for the price specified and I included the model number from the web advertisement. I told her I would have a 6hr drive to get there and I wanted to know that this was a real price deal. She said it was and put the car aside for me. When I arrived, she wheeled out the stock# listed, but it was a Prius model 3 and had NONE of the options listed on the website. She immediately turned me over to another Internet manager to try and make it right after my long drive. They basically gave me the same $1000 they were giving me anyways as an Internet discount and I was already getting the $1000 rebate...so they didn't do ONE thing different from the deal that made me drive all the way to their lying business. When told they weren't doing "what they could to make it right" the way they stated, they said they tried. I left the company immediately. The next day I bought from Hamer Toyota in Woodland Hills. Their first offer beat absolutely everyone in 6 counties and I had other dealers actually tell me to take the deal (almost $3000 BELOW dealer invoice). I even got a 55,000 warranty w $50 deductible ($5000 value) tossed out and exchanged with a 125,000 warranty, no deductibles, for $1600 at 0%. Run, run, run from Gosch and do business with Hamer...you'll love the deals and the inventory is HUGE!
BTW - 2 days after the Gosch false Internet ad, their ad is still posted and management hasn't taken a single action to correct it...probably a testament to their Bait & Switch business model.
