Condescending.

Tried to sell my relatively new car, and they did not even give me half the price. I had a friend who totaled his car due to accident, and the insurance company gave him a little more than half the price of the original car. There was such a huge discrepancies between the blue book price and the dealer's pricing, so I asked why. Three words: bad car facts. So I asked for a report, because I am a physicist and better yet, I have an automechanic friend. I know how to read technical reports and compare statistics. They didn't, and they did not provide a logical reasoning. They were incredibly condescending, probably because I am a young woman recently graduated from college. PS, I sold it to another dealership for a little higher price than the blue book price. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, AND SAVE YOUR TIME.

Ms. L., sorry to hear about your experience when trying to trade your Civic. CarFax has increasingly influenced car values over the last decade. We have found that a "negative Carfax", one with accident damage reported, greatly diminishes the values of the vehicles, due to the perceptions of future buyers. We do not condone condescending speech to our customers, certainly do not tolerate any discrimination, and apologize if you feel you were treated unfairly. We appreciate your feedback.
