Worst service department ever!!!

onWhile on my way back from Norfolk, VA, to Alexandria, VA, my alternator went out on my 2001 VW Jetta. USAA towed my vehicle to West Broad Audi VW to have repairs done. Their service hours were terrible, and by the time we got from Yorktown to Richmond, trying to call them the entire drive, the service department was already shut down, and it was still daylight. After leaving a voice mail and my vehicle with them overnight, I returned to pick up my vehicle only to have the alternator go out a second time on the drive back to Alexandria. Luckily, my vehicle was towed to the VW Springfield in Alexandria, where they fixed it correctly - haven't had any problems since. The repair cost us well over $800, yet when I called the West Broad Audi VW service manager on my way to have my car properly repaired at Springfield VW, His response was both callous and uncaring. Luckily for me, VW Springfield did not charge me for the repair. My advice is simple: STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!
